Rakesh passes AIFF state instructors' test


CHANDIGARH, JAN 22 :  City-based national-level referee Rakesh Kumar Sharma, an official of AG (Audit) Haryana-Chandigarh is among the six officials who have passed the state instructors couerse conducted by the All India Football Federation in Chennai in November last year.

According to a communication received by Chandigarh Football Association General Secretary Rakesh Bakshi, from AIFF General Secretary Alberto Colaco, other state instructors who have been declared successful, are Chamchuk Lamba (Sikkim), Subrata Sarkar (IFA), Ms Anamika Sen (IFA), Blai Rodrigues (Goa) and M Sridharan (Tamil Nadu).

Besides state instructors, the AIFF also conducted federation's instructors course and 17 have been declared successful as AIFF instructors. They are: Mustaque Pasha (Karnataka), Mrinal Kanti Roy (Assam), K Sankar (TN), KR Ravindran (MP), Subrata Das (IFA), Abdul Saleem (Delhi), Manuel Pereira (WIFA), C Sethumadavan (Kerala), Binod Kumar Singh (Jharkhand), Nirmal Chetia (Assam), CM Ramesh Babu (Tamil Nadu), Antonio Braganza (Goa), Udayan Haidar (IFA), Saratchandra Singh (Manipur), Walter Pereira (WIFA) and MG Mohan (Kerala).
