Imphal, Dec 20 : The Manipur Brothers' Sporting Union (MBSU) Wahengbam Leikai and Youth Welfare Club (YWC) Thambalkhong after winning today's quarter final matches of the ongoing 52nd Sir Churachand Singh KCSI, CBE Memorial Football Tournament 2008 organised by All Manipur Football Association (AMFA), have entered the semi final rounds as group winners.In today's last quarter final match of group Q, MBSU beat AMOFA 3-0 and entered semi final.
L Boipu of MBSU scored two goals against AMOFA in the 45ht and 89th minute while N Dhananjoy scored one goal in the 81st minute of the match.
L Indramani and K Priyokumar of AMOFA scored one goal each in the 35th and 64th minute.
In the last quarter final match of group R YWC beat AIM 2-0.The two goals of YWC were scored by L Jackychand and Mo-Moi Vaiphei in the 7th and 61st minute.
AIM could not make any goal. AR will fightr MBSU in the semi final on December 21 while NEROCA will fight YWC on December 22 .
