Imphal, April 2: LUKSA, nambol defeated VSAC, Churachandpur 2-0 as IVFA, Canchipur humbled KVFA, Khurai by half a dozen goal in group matches of the 3rd Koijam Yaima Memorial Invitation Veteran Football Tournament at Akampat ground today.

Goals in each half by RJ Thonkhup (14th) and Th Lolen (41st) fetched full points for the Nambol veterans against VSAC while Ch Devan (17th), Lukhoi (20th, 43rd), K Santoshbanta (36th), Sanatomba (51st) and Angousana (58th) found the back of the KVFA net in the victory for the Canchipur side.

Manipur State Football League

Imphal, February 17 : USA Khurai routed NLYC Churachandpur 4-1 at ESU ground today.

For the winners, K Sureshkumar, M Manglemba, W Rangdon and M Suresh scored one apiece.

The lone consolation goal for the Churachandpur side was struck by T Pauliansiam.

The first leg match between the two team was won by USA 2-0 .

In the second match of the day, TRUGPU Nambol overcame YWC Thambalkhong 2-1 .

Although K Kiran drew first blood in the 45th minute, M Sudhiranjan and L Gouro struck in the 81st and 91st minute to turned the match in favour of the Nambol side.

The first leg match between the two sides was also won by the Nambol side 1-0 .
