Mizoram, which had a smooth sailing so far with an unbeaten record after getting past defending champion Goa and West Bengal comprehensively in the quarterfinal league to top Group I, has the edge against Haryana, which finished second in Group II after getting the better of Meghalaya and holding Kerala and Punjab to a draw.
Mizoram has maintained consistency throughout the tournament and played well as a unit with its strikers and midfielders working in tandem, that left the rival defence reeling. The midfield revolves around playmaker David Lalrinmuana, who has kept its upfront busy along with Zodinliana and Lalrinfela.
Strikers Malsawmzuala and T.C. Lalhuapzauva have been in outstanding form.
