Holders Manipur entered the finals of 17th Senior Womens National Football Championship 2008-09 defeating runners up Orissa 2-0 in the first semi finals played at Bharthi Stadium, Neyveli on Saturday.Both the teams missed few chances and were locked goalles at the lemon break.K Rebika Devi opened the scoreline for Manipur in the 67th min and TH Tababi Devi made it 2-0 seven minutes later.
West Bengal set up a clash with Manipur in the finals after overcoming a stiff challenge from hosts Tamilnadu in the second semi finals.Match ended 1-1 in the regulation time and West Bengal won in the tie breaker .(4-3)
