Liverpool’s Gerrard doesn’t think Man U can win Premier league

LONDON- Riding high on his sides stunning performance to beat Manchester United 4-1, Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has raised questions over United’s hope of bouncing back in the league.

Gerrard said he still hopes that Liverpool
can pull it off and win the title.

“I think we can still win the league. It is still tough, there is still a big gap and we are running out of time as there are not many games left,” he said.

Gerrard said his team wants to continue its winning spree after handed over a defeat to Real Madrid at home followed by a win over Manchester United.

Coach Rafa Benitez also showered praise on his squad’s stupendous performance in the last two games, and hoped that his team continues the good work.

“We have to keep going the same way. It was a great day for the supporters and we are really happy. To beat Real and now United with four goals in each game is very good,” The Sun quoted Benitez, as saying.
