OIL-B, IOCL in last four

Dibrugarh, Feb 10 : OIL-B will take on Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGCL) in the morning, while OIL-A will take on Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) Assam Oil Division in the afternoon tie in the semi-finals of the 29th inter-unit Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) football tournament under way at Nehru Maidan in Duliajan.
The final will be played on Wednesday.
In the last two group matches played today, IOCL (AOD) defeated Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (CPCL) 6-0, while OIL-B outplayed Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) 4-0.
IOCL (AOD) stormed into the semi-finals riding upon a spectacular performance from striker Pronob Gogoi who scored a hattrick to take his team to the last four. 
Pronob scored the three goals in the 10th, 18th and 21st minutes.
Dipak Thapa took the tally to 4-0 for IOCL (AOD) in the 32nd minute, as opponents CPCL turned into mere spectators.
IOCL (AOD) led 4-0 till half time.
Narayan Jaishy came up with two beautiful goals in the 49th and 51st minutes to take the score to 6-0 for his team.
In the other match of the day, OIL-B defeated BPCL 4-0, with Probudh Gogoi, Ratul Sonowal, Mrinal Boro and Pranjal Neog scoring a goal each.
